29th December 2019, Nongstoin: Br. Shanborlang Wartde, OFM received the Holy Order of Priesthood, on 29th December 2019, by Most. Rev. Victor Lyngdoh, Bishop of Jowai Diocese. The celebration was held at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Nongkhlaw, Nongstoin Diocese, Tirot Sing Memorial Playground, Mongkhlaw.
The celebration was witnessed by a congregation numbering more than a thousand across the diocese. Friars from the Mission Foundation of St. Francis of Assisi, to which Br. Shanborlang belongs, turned out in big number to attend the Ordination Cermony. Br. Singarayar, the President of the Foundation was present too. We wish Br. Shanborlang, God’s Blessings and Peace and Perseverance in his ministry as the Priest of Jesus Christ, the Most High Priest.
