Ordination to Diaconate

3 July, Bengaluru: It was, indeed, a great joy for all of us that three of our brothers, Br. Agustine Tirkey, Br. Anand Suresh Minz, and Br. Emmanuel Christopher, were committing themselves to the Order of Diaconate. Diaconate is the final step to priesthood. As deacons, they have committed themselves in the service of God and his people. As deacon, they will now be assisting the priests at the altar and proclaiming the Word of God.

Here below is the information about three brothers who were ordained Deacons.

Brother Augustine Tirkey was born on 06^th August 1989 in Chainpur, Jharkhand. His parents are Mr. Deonis Tirkey and Ms. Valleria Tirkey. He is the second one in the family with two sisters and two brothers. He entered the Order of Friars Minor on 30^th May 2011 and made his first profession on 31^st May 2012. He made his solemn profession on 07^th May 2017. He is very calm, friendly, and  good at sports.

Brother Anand Suresh Minj was born on 13^th December 1987 in Pujratoli, Jharkhand. His parents are late Mr. Vincent Minj and Ms. Margret Minj. He is the eldest son in the family with one sister and brother. He entered the Order of Friars Minor on 30^th May 2012 and made his first profession on 31^st May 2013. He made his solemn profession on 13^th May 2018. He is very outgoing, friendly, and gentile brother with very many talents in creative arts and sports.

Brother Emmanuel Christopher was born on 24^th December 1992 in Bangalore. His parents are Mr. Noel raj and Ms. Christina Maria. He is the eldest son in the family with one younger sister. He entered the Order of Friars Minor on 30^th May 2012 and made his first profession on 31^st May 2013. Today he is going to make his solemn profession. He is very cheerful, friendly, sociable and intelligent brother with very many talents in singing, art work and sports.
