The beautiful decorations and fantastic dances welcomed Brs. Anmol Bara, Nelson Toppo and Niraj Tirkey, and Ankit Kumar Baghel as they led the procession for the Holy Eucharist on the occasion of their Solemn Profession on 7 May 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Nanesera, Jharkhand.
Br. Tony D Souza, the Custos of the Custody of Mary, the Mother of God received the vows of these brothers during the solemn Holy Eucharist. The family members of these brothers were present and were delighted to share the joy of these brothers becoming members of the Order of Friars Minor forever. The family members were also moved with emotions as the brothers committed themselves proclaiming the Profession Creed.
The presence of a number of friars from different communities added so much joy and festivity to the occasion. The parishioners led by Br. Jugal, the Parish Priest had arranged for the solemn event everything, and the celebration went on very well.
After the Eucharist, the brothers were felicitated, and brothers and parishioners jumped into a spontaneous dance which was a beautiful sight to behold – Joy is being Franciscan.
