Feast of St. Louis IX, King of France, the Patron of Palamaner Fraternity
The Feast of St. Louis IX was celebrated with deep Devotion, lively Sports, and vibrant Cultural events by the dedicated Aspirants and enthusiastic Novices, alongside the supportive friars of the Palamaner Fraternity.
The day commenced with a heartfelt prayer service in honor of St. Louis IX. The service highlighted his profound love for Christ, his boundless Charity towards the impoverished, his remarkable simplicity and humility, his unwavering devotion to God, and his earnest desire to lead a life that was truly pleasing to Him. These aspects were beautifully reflected in the prayer service.
At mid-day, we celebrated a solemnly con-celebrated Holy Mass, presided over by the esteemed Minister Provincial. Following the Mass, the Aspirants and Novices engaged in spirited sports activities. It was truly delightful to witness the boundless energy and infectious enthusiasm of our brothers on the field.
Throughout the day, we, the Aspirants, Novices, and Friars, shared all our meals together. The sharing of meals was accompanied by hearty laughter and light-hearted jokes. There was a strong mutual sentiment among the Aspirants and Novices that such joyful gatherings should occur more frequently.
In the evening, we enjoyed a wonderfully organized Cultural Programme. This enchanting event was meticulously arranged by the creative Aspirants. The entire venue was elegantly decorated, creating a visually pleasing ambiance. The Aspirants, who had received just two months of English coaching, charmingly welcomed the Fraternity and skillfully led the programme as adept Masters of Ceremony. The Aspirants from various regions of India presented a captivating array of dances, each performance infused with their unique music and personal charisma. The Novices further enriched the event with a visually stunning and memorable performance.
Finally, the Guardian expressed heartfelt thanks to the Fraternity for their harmonious arrangements and the spirit of brotherly collaboration that made the day truly special.
