OFM Presence Inaugurated in Velliyanur, Archdiocese of Pondicherry and Cuddalore

With gratitude and joy, we announce the inauguration of the OFM (Order of Friars Minor) presence in Velliyanur, situated within the Archdiocese of Pondicherry and Cuddalore. This new mission marks a significant step forward in our commitment to living and sharing the Gospel among the people of this region.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who graced the occasion with their presence and support. Special appreciation goes to our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Arokia Nathan, and to Rev. Fr. John Britto, Director of TNBCLC, for their active involvement and blessings.
We are also grateful to the three Commission In-Charge Fathers—Fr. Analin Benedict, Fr. Raphael, and Fr. Michael—for their guidance and support. A special word of thanks to the Jesuit Fathers, Fr. Anthony and Fr. Frank, from the Peramandur Mission Church, whose presence added meaning to the occasion.
We acknowledge with gratitude the presence of the Sisters from five Cluny Convents, whose encouragement and prayers were deeply appreciated.
We are especially thankful to our fellow Friars—Fr. Pushparaj (Nesakkaram), Fr. Roobendass and Fr. Lawrence (Nesavanam), and Fr. Simon A and Fr. Jesuraja (Dindigul)—for their fraternal support and prayerful encouragement on this new journey.
As we begin this humble mission in Velliyanur, we, Br. Charles A and Br. Jesu Maharaja, humbly seek your continued prayers and support for our life and ministry among the people of God.
