Entry In The Order of Friars Minor and First Profession in the Order of Friars Minor.
The Franciscans in India are once again blessed with Brothers for the Order. The Cradle of Franciscans in India Palmaner was in a festive mood on 30th May 2017 when 16 young men chose to enter the Novitiate and on 31st May 2017 when 15 young men chose to commit themselves to the Franciscan way of Life. Br. Praveen Henry D' Souza, the Minister Provincial and Br. Scaria Varanath, the Custos were present to share the joy of these brothers making a courageous and audacious decision. The fraternity of St. Louis Friary deserves all credit for their efforts in forming the brothers who made their first profession and the Fraternity of Punitha Anthoniarillam for their efforts in forming the brothers who entered the Novitiate. Let us continue to pray that the Good Lord guides them in their choice.
