Blessing and Inauguration of St. Louis Church, Palamaner
The newly constructed St. Louis Church, Palamaner, located in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh, was solemnly blessed and inaugurated on Sunday, 19 April 2026, at 5:00 PM. The ceremony took place in an atmosphere of deep faith and devotion, marking a significant milestone in the life of the parish community.
The new church, noted for its elegant architectural design, serene prayerful ambience, and spacious structure, stands as a symbol of unity and spiritual renewal for the faithful of the region.
The solemn liturgical celebration was attended by His Lordship Most Rev. Paul Prakash Saginala, Bishop of Kadapa, and His Lordship Most Rev. Prakash Sagili, Bishop of Khammam, with Rev. Fr. Xavier Durairaj, OFM, Minister Provincial, present on the occasion.
The event was organized under the leadership of Fr. Jayapal, Parish Priest, and Fr. Sleeva, Guardian, along with the Franciscan Friars. Several priests of the diocese and members of religious congregations participated in the celebration, joining a large gathering of parishioners in prayer and thanksgiving.
